Is there a method to delete a shopping cart? Got one on my system that is never going to go to an order.

Thanks Tim. Can we get the option added in a future release as we do get a number of spurious carts that never make it to orders.

This would be great for us also, event photographers always seem to end up with at least one stray cart here and there.

if you go to stats and shopping cart, you will see delete as an option on the right side of each open cart. i am currently on version 7.8.
Although I would like to see an option to edit a client's cart so that i can remove specific items.

Adrian,
Go on the customer profile and over the data you can choose to deactivate or delete it.

I have deleted shopping carts that have not been purchased. I first send an email to the client, explaining my policy and I ask if they plan to purchase the items in the cart or I ask if they had issues purchasing. I then advise them of my site policy on shopping carts that remain not purchased and stagnant and that they will be deleted. I remind the customer there is an option for favorite images as well. If I do not hear back from the client, I click on their name and then click on the shopping cart and there is an option to delete the cart.
