Attention

If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.

You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

New Website, Same Hosting: Now Can't Log Into Admin?!

I have been running the same version of photocart for years. I just transitioned from a Wordpress site to a Showit site for photographers. Godaddy is still doing my hosting for both. I called Godaddy and they helped me change my host in filezilla, but said they couldn't make my photocart work-to ask for help on this end. When I open filezilla now, I can see the photocart folder and all of my previous folders, but I can't log into admin now because it doesn't exist. How do I fix this? Will I be able to link my past clients to their photos?

No white screen. My url was always www.klodtphotography/photocart. Godaddy told me to change that to photocart/klodtphotography.com. (Not sure why) When you go to that it says website is not available. Last night it would let me go there and see all my previous photo folders, just no thumbnail or photo. Now, nothing. When I go to sign in to my admin page, that is giving me a 404.

They have moved you to a sub domain, http://photocart.klodtphotography.com

So you need to download and edit the setup.php file or edit it through the filemanager in your hosting control panel.

If you have a line

$setup['photo_cart_folder'] = "photocart";

Remove it.

If you see a line:

$setup['url'] = "http://".$_SERVER['HTTP_HOST']."/photocart";

Change it to

$setup['url'] = "http://".$_SERVER['HTTP_HOST']."";

I was able to go into my photocart folder on go daddy and change the line: $setup['url'] = "http://".$_SERVER['HTTP_HOST']."/photocart";
I did not see $setup['photo_cart_folder'] = "photocart"; anywhere on any of the pages.
That has fixed the link to my new sub domain, and all of my galleries are in tact. But, I still cannot log into my admin: http://www.klodtphotography.com/photocart/admin/manage.php
what am I missing to change this?
