I receive this message but the "add image button doesn't work. Have tried in different browsers. Help greatly appreciated!

Sounds like you are on a very old version of Sytist and that uses Adobe Flash which is no longer supported by your computer.
A new uploader was developed and added a few years ago that does not require adobe flash. You may want to update your Sytist:
