Outdated Php, Do I Need To Pay For An Upgrade?

Hey Tim, apologies if this has been asked before, I could not find it in the database. I am running an older version of sytist, 3.72, which I'm fine with. However my host has just emailed me letting me know that my PHP version (7.4) will no longer be supported after July and that if I don't update my PHP version then I'll have to pay $5 a month for them to support it. 

Do I need to buy a Sytist upgrade in order to update my PHP version? My business has been killed by covid lockdowns and I don't have a whole lot coming in via photography so I'd rather not incur a cost at this point if not necessary and my current version still serves my needs very well. Thanks in advance.

Sytist became compatible with PHP 8 in version 4.1.0 May 3, 2022.  You will need to have the PHP kept at 7.4 or update your Sytist.
