Attention

If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.

You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

I've ben looking everywhere, but can't find how to change text information in the footer. The image I found in customize > header & footer, but not the text. I've changed them in custom_footer.php on those pages that are integrated as a php site. But I don't know where to change the footer for the portfolio and the shop&license site (www.carosphotography.com).

I'd appreciate any help on this.
Thanks,
Caro

The footer would be in Customize -> Header & Footer. But there is also a footer option when editing your theme and if anything is in there, it will show that instead.

Thanks for your quick reply, Tim. Unfortunately, those are the options I already tried and it doesn't show up there. There's nothing in the theme either. Any chance to get the source in the code? On this site the footer (my name) is still wrong: http://carosphotography.com .
It also doesn't work with the text edit mode.
Any other ideas?

Thanks, Caro

Maybe at some point the footer file was edited directly. That would be the pc_footer.php file.

No, the text doesn't show in the pc_footer.php. Strange, isn't it?!

did you have someone else design your Photo Cart?

I just had help with integrating three more pages (About me, Information and Contact) which look exactly like the other ones. However the separate footer on those pages I was able to change. I'll ask the person again if he remembers changing anything on the regular pages and let you know.

Thanks a lot for trying to help!
