Attention

If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.

You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

Digital Package

I have had the capabilities in the past to offer a digital package. The gallery will have multiple images and the customer can select a set number of images to add to their digital package. I have had multiple orders in the last couple of weeks where this has been successful. Now, all of a sudden the customer cannot select and the images to their package. I am not sure of what has happened. Can someone explain what has happened or give me guidance on how to set this up so that the customer does not have to add the image number in the notes section when the checkout.

If it was working then suddenly stopped, then either you changed something in the package OR the digital products in the package are sizes you don't have available for the photos. Like if the product is a download of the original size uploaded, you probably didn't select to keep the original for download when you uploaded the photos so there is no file to download.

Nothing has changed on my end. Can you tell me what the steps should be to allow a customer to pick a set number of digital images for an order? I receive the order and burn the images to disk and mail the disk to them. I know it is old school but I burn the disk with a printed copyright release on the face of the disk.

Go to products & pricing, create a new Custom package for this. You can enter in how many images they can select.
