Details Of Passcoding Photos In Sub Directories? And Different Pricing

Hey Tim

Just wanted to say
LOVE YOUR WORK
I keep discovering Sytist already has features that I never knew it had or that I needed

I normally discover these features when I work out I need to do something and then investigate further and find there is a way to do it.

Like passcoding photos – which I am just investigating at present (can the search feature work on sub folders of a gallery as well or only the one gallery?)

The reason for this question is I currently add the below different products into subfolders so I can add different pricelists – so you can’t buy a 6x9 of the 10x20 for example
Example here https://www.locallegends.phot o/order-team-photos/altona-juniors-team-photos-post-club-delivery/

Have you seen any great logic for generating a password from a name or filename – like surname for instance

My Issue for instance Ayce Frosthttps://www.picturespro.com/forummemberphotos/3647/3647-210718083650.jpg

Can Purchase a Team Shot as a 8x12 or 10x15
A T&P Poster as a 10x15 or a 12x18 (looks terrible as an 8x12 the names are too small)
A 10x20 Framed print
A 6x9 or 8x12 portrait
(And some kids have group portraits as well)

These products can't have just one pricelist for all (I assume) as you should not be able to buy a 6x9 of a 10x20

Is there any way to assign pricelists on upload like having an SKU in the filename or an excel sheet.

Is there a way to do waht I am after as i would love to use the passcode feature

Kind regards

Darrell Jones

I think all you need to do is override the price lists of those individual photos. Here's how:

Ok a couple of questions,
I assume passcoding only works in one directory?
If I uploaded in folders assigned prices - can I then move them into the one folder so the passcode search work and have them retain their different prices?
Or if I uploaded all into one directory with something like and SKU start to the filename thus sorting them alpha numerically - can I shift select the products to apply prices or do I have to check each product individually (there could be upwards of 1500 files in a directory)

You can upload photos into a sub gallery & select a different price list for that sub gallery and assign passwords to those photos. Then when someone enters in their password they will see their photos from the main gallery and also a link to that sub gallery and their photos in that sub gallery and the photos in that sub gallery will have the sub gallery price.

If you mean shift select multiple photos you can:
