Paid Registration Without Creating An Account.

Hi Tim,

I have set up paid registration for my preschool photography. The parent pays and gets an account credit. In Checkout and Payment I had 'create an account is optional' selected (which I have just changed to 'require an account'). I have had a lot of people purchase without setting up an account. If they log in when photos are ready will they have access to their credit or do I need to do an extra step for these orders?

If you are using paid access, even if you have creating an account optional, it will still force them to create an account so the access and credit goes into their account. I don't see how it is possible for someone to do paid access and not create an account.

Hi Tim,

I am not sure what I have done wrong but I have 65 people unregistered who paid for registration which includes an account credit.
For those that registered I can see that they have an account with a credit in it.
For the unregistered ones I can see the customer has placed an order and paid but they don't have an account.
I have attached the settings on the registration page and also the section settings.

That's not paid access. That is a store item. So yes, they can checkout without creating an account in that scenario. So you do need to keep creating an account as required.

You may just have to generate those people a coupon.
