I'm trying to use Sytist to allow potential clients to design their own Wedding PackageS.
It's easy enough to create thumbnails of all the options available...they can choose what products and services they want and add them to the cart.
Now I need to figure out a way to discount products and services based on how many are added to the package. Ideally it would work something like this
Basic Coverage - No Discount
Product Group One (add two save 30%...add three or more save 40%)
Album
Photo Booth
Additional Photographer
etc...
Product Group Two (add two save 40%...add three or more save 60%)
Framed Portrait
Same Day Gallery
Engagement Session
etc...
Can quantity discounts be connected to product groups instead of individual products?
Can discounts be offered based on other items purchased?
Is there an entirely different way to make this work?
Thanks!

There isn't any way to make that work ... to apply discounts based on what all is selected. You would need to come up with set packages and let them choose from those.
