Hi Tim
I might be missing the obvious but is there a way of designing a new homepage in the background and then replacing the existing homepage when I am happy with the design.
I am keen to use the new designer.
Sorry to trouble you.
By the way thank you for the GDPR page excellent.

Create a new Top Level Page in the Site Content area name it something like new home page.
When viewing it in the admin, click the page designer button.
There you can design it. Once you have it the way you like, select the Save as Template option in the designer.
Then go to your home page in the admin, click the Page Designer button and in the page designer menu click Templates then Load next to the template you created to load it to the home page.
