Gallery Says More Images Than It Really Has

I currently have a gallery that says it has 4362 photos but, it does not. This is a gallery that has been reused by throwing away old photos and replacing with current photos. Are the old ones "hiding " somewhere? What should I check for this hidden data?

How many images should it say it has? Can't think of a reason why some would be hidden. Are you using the Photos by Tags option?

That album currently holds 1445 files in 19 sub galleries. No, I've never used the Photos by tag option before.

I won't be able to tell anything without accessing the database directly, checking the table rows and looking at the gallery. You would need to email me your hosting information ... link, username and password so I can do that.
