Cron Job For Early Bird Expiration

Is there a way to have an automatic email sent on the date that the early bird expires? Something to remind clients that the discount is expiring "TODAY"

If you go to Settings -> Automated Emails and edit the early bird special email, you can change it to 0 days ahead and should send on the day it expires.

Would you consider adding a second early bird expire cron job for a future update. Having 2 email notices actually boosts last minute sales. Currently I email my client 3 days prior to expiration and would like to notify them on the day it expires as well.
