Double Charge Through Square On Registry Purchases - Urgent Help Please!

Hi Tim

A registry we have set up here: https://www.locallegends.phot o/groupbuys/under-12-div-2-premiers-hoppers-crossing/

When you enter the checkout and hit Pay now, nothing happens, when you hit pay now again the sale proceeds. However Square charges twice. Please help. Whats the best way to supply info to you re this case? ie login, password etc

We duplicated an old Registry to make this new one - assume the code may have been old - a new regsitry from scratch is not having the same issue

How many times did this happen? Sounds like you have an issue other than the registry.

Happened about three times in a row - we recerated the Group Buy from scratch and all was good. I still have the old group buy there (to retain the sales) if you want to have a look. understand you are busy though. The one I duplicated was at least 12 months old

The first sale has no product and the second has the correct sale. both get charged. Not happening in the new gallery

I'm having the same exact thing happen. It's happening a ton (but not every time) and its a pain to crediting the customers cards for refunds. For your fix, did you have to start from scratch or does a duplication of your page/ pricelist / etc work?
I contacted my host and he seemed to think it was an internet connection of the customer, but I wasn't too sold on that.

Thanks for your advice.

When I duplicated it didn't work. When I created a new registry that was prepopulated with the info stored in the template it worked fine. We are using square how about you?
