I don't understand IT stuff so bear with me. I hope I have the following wording right :)
My IT support has an internal web monitoring in place that does something every few minutes. I want to ignore that IP address from all my reporting, recent visits etc. Can you advise on how I can do that? I'm told there is usually something that allows a specific IP address to be ignored but I cant seem to find it.

There is not a way to set it to ignore an IP address. The only think you can do is block the IP address from the site in Settings -> Security.
