I'm trying to figure out the easiest way for me to accept CC/ online payments.
I currently do not have a SSL.
I currently accept CC payments from ProPay.com but they don't offer a gateway. They do offer a button but it only says BUY NOW and that would only work to purchase individual prints...not the entire cart (obviously not an option).
When I go to PayPal buttons I only see the same kind of BUY NOW buttons. Does this apply to the entire cart purchase?
Is there a way to do this without going SSL route?

You can setup PayPal Standard Business with the menu options, Settings/Checkout & Payment. This option does not require SSL. When the client chooses this option of payment they are sent to PayPal website to complete the transaction then returned to your website when finished. We have been using this method for a long time and no problems.

And customers can pay with credit/debits cards with the PayPal option without having a PayPal account.

I am trying to follow the steps in the manual for setting this up, however they steps no longer match Paypal's website.
I get hung up on Step5. There is no " Request API credentials to create your own API username and password."
Can you please update the step by step directions to match Paypal's site?
Log into your PayPal account.
Click on the person icon on the upper right corner of the page then click "Profile & Settings".
In the left menu, click on "My selling tools".
Next to API Access, click update.
Request API credentials to create your own API username and password.
Click Request API Credentials.
Click Request API signature.
Click Agree and Submit.

Those are instructions for a PayPal payments PRO account which has a monthly fee. If you are using a standard business account you just have to go Settings -> Checkout & Payments, edit the PayPal Standard Business account, enter in your email address you use for PayPal and make it active.
