Would using a content delivery network service increase website access speed for those accessing my site in other countries?

No matter what it all depends on the end users connection. But in general yes using S3 takes the load off your server.

Sorry I was not referring to amazon S3, I should have explained myself better.  My server provides a free CDN and I was wondering if there would be an advantage to setting it up or not?  As far as I am aware it only serves static content while most of sytist content is dynamic.  However with that said, my art market is global so it would be nice to reduce latency if possible for faster load times

I do not believe that is possible. The only CDN that is compatible is S3. I would rewrite your question to something more like. My website host has a separate CDN space available, will it work and how do I access it with sytist.
