I uploaded 3 folders with about 11 sub folders each and when I finished I found I have a bunch ._IMG files that were uploaded. I have never seen this happen before when uploading to my galleries. Is there an easy way to delete them? they are being put in as preview images and it makes it look like there are no images.

You will have to tick the select under each photo then delete.

Those files are in the folders on your computer you uploaded for some reason.

The strange thing is that when I go to the folders with the images I don't see the ._IMG_xxx.jpg files. Not sure what changed that caused them to upload.

Guess I'll start selecting each file and delete

I'm going to guess you are on a Mac and sounds like something a Mac will do. (I don't use one so I don't know exactly).
