Order Not Accounted For On Sytist....but Got An Email

We got an order email sent to our production team. This order was paid for and I checked our credit card processor and see that the customer completed the payment process. However, this order is not accounted for anywhere in Sytist, nor do I see an account for the customer (which is required). The email of the parent in the "people" section of the gallery shows as "viewed but not purchased" ...yet we have a purchase email. The image that was purchased does not show the "cart" icon under it either.

The order number in the email is the order number of a completely different order....not related to this gallery...and was placed 2 hours after this order was placed. I've looked in trash, archived, etc...and cannot locate this order.

The only thing about this gallery that is different from our others is that it's our first QR code gallery.

Help?

I've got two very large QR code galleries about to go online, and want to be able to make sure this isn't related to that...even though it wouldn't make sense why it would be.

Have you or your host been doing any maintenance on the server?

That sounds like the database was restored from a backup that was made before the first order was placed.

That is really the only way you can have 2 orders with the same number. Even if the first order was deleted, it would not generate another order with the exact same order number.

I was on the phone with our host yesterday afternoon! I wasn't aware of them doing any maintenance, but perhaps that happened while he and I were troubleshooting some issues we're having that I believe are hosting issues. That must be what happened.

Thank you!
