Hi Tim,
I have just had a clients paypal account compromised and was wondering if there was a way hackers could of hacked the Sytist installation to retrieve their data?

I had made an order a week ago to buy my son’s photos. We've just had a large sum come out from our account via PayPal straight after I had purchased the photos. I just wondered whether your PayPal system been compromised? We’ve notified the bank but just thought I would let you know.
Thanks

That sounds like a browser attack, sytist passes the request to paypal and paypal handles the rest. It's on Paypal or your customers browser. Sytist does not store fiancial info.
Cheers Vance,
Thought as much, but you know when shit goes down, you have to cover your bases.

Absolutely! I am just wondering if they read a fake email and actually never checked their Paypal account. I get those emails all the time. And if they did get a email like that, if they hit the link, well they just got scammed. Rest easy.
Couldn't have happened through Sytist. The customer is on the PayPal site when entering the payment information (even if it is just a popup window) and no payment information is stored in Sytist.
They could have their browser compromised.
