My Private Galleries Are Viewable To Others Despite Having Private Gallery Enabl

I believe I have correctly set my portraits page to private and given the choice to make the images not viewable to others.
yet my clients are still able to see other clients images.
and thus others are able to see theirs.
what setting am I missing?

What is a link to a gallery you believe should be password protected?

Note when YOU are logged into the admin you access any gallery without the password.
