Some Problems With Paypal And With Processing Photos While Uploading

Hi,

Since some days I have some problems with the PayPal checkout. The order did not get created but the payment went through.

In the error log I found this:

The website is running on a Linux server with Plesk. PHP version is 8.1.2

Could you provide a hint what I have to change in order to get this solved?

1) There is a bug in some iphones that is causing some PayPal checkout payments to not create the order (not submitting the checkout form). I may have created a workaround but it won't be available for a week or so.

You may be better off using the PayPal Standard Business option in the mean time.

2) The error line indicates an issue when trying to watermark the photo. Either you have changed the watermark and something is no right with it, or recently changed the PHP version and something not right with that.

thanks for the advice.

I changed the PHP version and it seems that the watermark issue is solved. The last 4000 photos uploaded without issue.

About the PayPal checkout problem:

We do use the PayPal Standard business checkout. Just yesterday I had again this error coming up.

It did create the order correctly and the payment has arrived on our PayPal account correctly.

I don't know if this error had any consequences - so fqr I did not notice any problem resulting from that.
