Shopping Cart Not Working
Tim, My shopping cart feature isn't allowing my customers to add items. It appears that the items are going in it, but it's always coming up empty.
Here is the site specifically. https://mcdphoto.net/pre_order/sports/
I can't get pre orders for shoots today, so it's a pretty big issue. Thanks! Jeremy
Tim, Just a follow up with this. I have been getting some complaints recently of how long it is taking for items to be added to the cart. Lots of spinning wheel complaints. I do have a couple galleries that do work (slowly) and customers can add items and finally check out.
https://www.mcdphoto.net/school/shs/ I can get items in this cart.
I've optimized and backed up, but not too sure what else to do. Thanks, Jeremy
Sounds like you are out of space on your hosting so it can not create a session file to keep the cart contents.

Thanks Tim.
Would this be related to me not being able to export product reports? That isn't working. and I get this error... HTTP ERROR 500
Nor can I update the site to the most current build.
I'm not too sure what to delete to free up space. I did delete the error log, which was large.
Being out of space can cause all that. You may need to have your host give you some more space or delete more stuff off the server.

Tim, I'm working with my host to look into the count limit, but they say I have plenty of space available.
I dont want to mess anything up, but do I want to look into deleting this file... ini_set('session.save_path', $setup['path']."/sy-phpsessions");
Currently the site is just spinning we you want to add anything to the cart as well as pulling up galleries, per-order sites, and pretty much just accessing anything on the site.
You are an guest admin to the site if you want to poke around. Let me know.
Thanks, Jeremy
Just a thought on this, I have 12,000+ archived orders in my system. Is that causing the site to move slow? Do I need to delete those old order? I don't want to mess with any customer accounts, but maybe all those order from the pre order gallery is messing with site.
The shopping cart is useless at this point and the wheels keep spinning on the galleries.
I can't log into your admin because you are out of space. I tried yesterday. Does exactly this.
The issue is with being out of space on your server.
