Upload Woes

I recently covered 2 championship events which generated 50,000+ images and 700+ folders.

At the end of the event I created the event in Sytist, then in windows I created a file structure that went -upload > Day > Discipline > Class > individual galleries containing between 50 & 100 images.

I then went to the event in Sytist and using the upload images option for the event and selected the upload folder, which triggers the uploading of images and the underlying folder structure.

I use a similar setup most weekends, but I'm normally able to either live upload during an event or clear the backlog each evening.  That wasn't the case this time as the event wasn't ending each day til late, buy which time I was shattered.

On checking the following day I could see that although there were no retry errors (V rare) some galleries at a discipline level hadn't been created and therefore populated, but even at the final gallery level where there should have been all the images some were missing swathes of images (one had 6 and should have 50+)

Has anyone experienced this before ??

I do have the galleries set to use S5

I am going to guess some sort of network interference during the upload, but impossible for me to say what happened.

I load events from 20-30-40-50000 photos and I can confirm that there are no jumps or errors.

in my case I upload via ftp directly to the hosting where sityst is installed ( no s3 )
