Order Email Not Showing Thumbnail

I'm setting up and testing an install of the Sytist software. When testing orders there is one category that will not add a thumbnail to the order message that is sent/received. See Email1Screenshot 2023-08-03 110040.png for example.
The order does not list an "in" path like the other item(s) in the order do and shows a broken photo thumb. (example: " in Thursday Sweeps > Sweeps Veteran 10-12 Bitches")

The offending photos are from from an area (Full path: Site Content > Private Clients > Quin > Quin 5-24-2023) that is assigned to a client from the People > Accounts > client name menu item. Perhaps I set this up wrong? The thumbnail photos show fine on the order page after the order is complete but only show the last part of the path "in Quin 5-24-2023"

The other issue (see: Email2Screenshot 2023-08-03 110314) would be the link to view the order page "Click the following link to view your order online:" link is only partial though if you copy/paste the whole link it take the person to their order page. Is this by design or should the entire link be active?

Thanks,
Phil

Forward me the email to info@picturespro.com so I can inspect it.

For the order link, it should be all clickable but looks like your email program isn't reading it.

You can change it to clickable text link  by going to Settings -> Default Emails & Text Messages -> Orders & Invoices -> Order email

And replace [ORDER_LINK] with:

[ORDER_LINK_OPEN]View Order[/LINK]

I sent off an email forward as asked.

I logged into an online email program (Roundcube) for the address I'm using to test orders with and It shows all the thumbnails fine in all the test orders, but no active link for the view order link. That's really weird I think.

I will give the alternate

[ORDER_LINK_OPEN]View Order[/LINK] a try when I get back in front of the computer.

Replied to your email.

Using [ORDER_LINK_OPEN]View Order[/LINK]  works better any ways.

I just made the change for the link and yes it works in PostBox, Gmail, and Roundcube and I like it better too.

The thumbnails show as broken in Postbox and Gmail, but will show up in Roundcube if that helps any.

Here is a copy of my email I sent:

The images not showing in the email are referencing  the domain degruyphoto.com which does not come up anywhere, the DOMAIN is not found.

The one that is showing is hosting on Amazon S3.

I suspect you are doing something with a host file to use that domain or some sort of domain forwarding.

Okay, that would be correct on where the photos that show up are and the ones that don't show up are still local. It would also be correct on using the hosts file on my laptop temporarily for setup and the domain is still actually domain forwarded to shootproof.

Most of the images I moved to Amazon S3 but the particular ones in the private gallery I did not do and they remain local to the new site.  I never considered that might be the issue.

Why would the thumbnails from amazon show up but not the ones from the domain or is that just a function of what is going on with the hosts file. I have to explain why this is to my wife when she asks about it.

It is caused by using the host files. Once you actually point the domain to the hosting Sytist is installed on it will all work.
