I have been contacted by Hostpapa to resolve high resource usage issues. A previous suggestion by hostpapa was to upgrade to a more expensive offering.

I have no understanding of php, so am asking for advice regarding the following analysis by them:

"The faults are caused by:
Top Accessed Content/Files ---

   4272 /sy-inc/store/store_cart_actions.php
   1904 /sy-inc/store/store_photos_buy_js.js
   1429 /sy-inc/refresh.php
    833 /sy-adminpickcam/admin.actions.php

You will have to check and optimize the script at
upload/sytist-upload-process.php which is causing the IO faults.

path:
./public_html/sy-adminpickcam/upload/sytist-upload-process.php "

Looks like it is happening when uploading photos. You can try the throttle option in the upload dialog to slow down the upload process.

That's what I suspected, so good to hear it confirmed.

Will look at that throttling option. Don't want to upgrade my hosting package because I don't need a trillion email addresses etc...

Many thanks,

Chris
