Paypal Website Payments Pro Error Out, Php Ver 8.1 Issue?

Hi,

Our Paypal payments error out on the payment screen with the error text below. Customers can still pay with VISA/Mastercard but we have not received any PayPal Express since May 21st. We did update to PHP version: 8.1.19 around that time. Does anyone know a fix?

I am not sure if this will fix it or not, but download this zip file.

Unzip it and upload the included paypal-pro-express.php  file into the sy-inc/store/payment folder on your website overwriting the existing one either with your FTP program or the file manager in your hosting control panel.

Thanks for looking into this. After replacing the paypal-pro-express.php file we are getting a different error message (see below). Is there anything else we can try?

Update: Actually I just received order confirmation emails from Sytist and PayPal for the above test. So the file you supplied has kind of fixed it, in that the transactions are now going through but customers get the error text above.

Also noticed on the order confirmation from Sytist that the title has odd text.

I've updated the file so try uploading it again.  download this zip file.

For the email subject, looks like something you added. Go to Settings -> Default Messages, edit that default email and change the subject.

Ok, the new paypal-pro-express.php file has reduced the error text down to a single line:

But now the transaction does not go through (no order confirmation emails from paypal or Sytist)
