Dictating What Photos To Be In A Collection

Before moving to Sytist we used paper order sheets that were customised to each parent.

We would offer several packages, wit the most common one being a 5R print of their childs head shot, an 8R of their class group, and another 8R with small head shots of all of their classmates similar to what would be in a year book.

I successfully set up a package with these 3 sizes in it and the savings have caused it to be popular this year, HOWEVER, I can't dictate which photos are being selected so I have some parents selecting the group or year book photo in the smaller 5R size which causes a 2 fold problem. Some of the text is too small to read, and much worse ids the pain it has caused my printer. (I have another post with another issue that expands on this).

Is there any way to enforce what photos are pre-selected for the package so parents can do the following:

  • Select the Package and add to cart
  • See the photos populated from the ones I have in mind for it

It needs to be fool proof.

BTW I passcode my photos for each parent, so they only see theirs, which means only their photos are filling the "blanks" so to speak.

What made this worse (face palm) is another package I made included wallet size WITH DIMENSIONS CLEARLY STATED and a disclaimer NOT to select it for class groups, has been chosen by some parents and populated with class groups and composited year book style photos.

Magnifying glass not included

There is not a way to limit what picture can be selected for what product. If it is one class or group photo available, you can just say that it includes the group or class photo.
