totally newbie here. Still on trial. But looking for a way to offer proofs and prints. Not just downloads.

I cannot seem to understand how to have oriole select a pose, a background… place an order and then a) send off to lab for printing or b) send the graphic to me for printing.

or am I misunderstanding how to use this platform?

Appreciate your patience with me :)

Watching this. We normally upload low res finsihed files, and then self fulfil from the order by printing the high res file. I am testing uploading the high res and then using the 'download original file' link to make my queue. Interested in seeing the responses. Insitua FX had a solution for picking the matching files at this end and submitting for print. Still looking at other options.

Thanks for the interest here… in my case I cannot create 540 kids (hockey players from this last week) finished images, in hopes that they buy.

I thought the entire reason this platform was available was to give options of swapping poses and backgrounds etc.

But I see no evidence of being able to purchase a print or downloading and printing a customers personalized choice.

Trying to be humble, in that I have no idea what I’m talking about here… Just what I want it to do :)

I'd be fascinated to see if it can do it - after several years with sytist I am still finding it does things I want to do its just a matter of whorking out how. Where are you at in sports photography, are you or how are you extracting your images? Whats software have you been using to automate Pixnub SPA or EZ Green Screen?

Have you seen the GS demo?

https://www.sytist.net/clients/green-screen-exampl...

You can download the original upload from Sytist, and I beleive it will even render the greenscreen.png images background and foreground to flattened jpg for you (which is necessary for immediate digital image downloads of course).  But the file sizes are huge for print sized images, not helped by alpha channel .png producing large file sizes, which places an overhead on your server.  Our .png maximum file size original uploads are 900px long edge, with backgrounds to exactly match, but Sytist creates multiple extra files and sizes from your original uploads for client viewing, watermark overlays, thumbnails, etc.

I imagine most serious users of Sytist self-fulfil the back end print rendering and sorting to orders themselves.   You will have to do it manually unless you can automate the order exports .csv spreadsheets to print ready files and folders, but that will require technical knowledge.  Some use Excel macros, we use windows .bat batch files and unix bash scripts  Others look for third party solutions - https://www.picturespro.com/support-forum/sytist/5....  Some even integrate directly with their SQL databases on the server!

There is no direct print rendering to lab integration (either local printer or remote commercial lab) which other users have complained about previously - all wanting their favourite local lab integrated, but for us is a non issue.

The sytist platform will do more than you discover in a full year of using it.  I believe I am 4 years in and still learning some of the features.  It absolutely does what you are asking and more.  If you want to send everything off to a lab, it will take some work to get your data set up correctly for whatever lab you are using but it can be done.  https://www.sportslinephotography.com/?r=603bf5
