Compare Photos And Missing Icons

I have checked the tick box on compare photos but I can't see where on the galleries it does anything?

I have also noticed when using a phone to view (as most of my clients do) if you open the thumbnail there are no icons like favourites etc. They can only be selected on the thumbnail screen. 

The compare option is not available on mobile. I don't recall the exact reason why but it is intentional. 

All the other icons do show on mobile. Why yours are not I have no idea why. I will need a link to a gallery and password if needed to see.

I’ve attached screenshots. Having logged into a friends site I see theirs is showing and on closer inspection it seems the colour theme is what is causing it to look like it’s not there as it’s too close to the background colour

Go to Design -> Edit MY Theme -> Content Area in the left menu then  Icon Color in the top menu.
