Cannot Get Sytist To Work With Php8
hey tim
When I upgrade to php8, I run into bugs with stylist. The wall designer for one will not save views or choose photos will not pop out. Is there something I am doing wrong? Am l missing some php extensions that is required
The current version of Sytist is compatible with PHP 8 and so is the wall designer. If you are having issues it is with the PHP 8 installation on your server. I don't know what it would be.

Are there essential PHP extensions needed to run sytist that I can check are loaded
ok. I'll match it up and see what happens. I will use 8.1 as shown and report back my findings
thanks
still running into errors with the wall designer. not sure were to look for conflicts. I have matched all the extensions as per your image above
here's an error message from log

After digging around for a while. I've noticed the server the php database is on is running is in environment php 7.4. There is possibly a conflict with what is running on my hosting server and the database server
That error would be related to something to do with a frame setting. I don't know what though and I don't get errors with it with PHP 8. I'll make a note to look into it.

the php database environment is not the issue. I have got the wall designer to work on 8.1. still trying to determine what I did so it may help others. For the operand error above. it appears the mat width and print size values caused the error because they did not equal the frame size
