Dynamic Content And Forms Element

It appears the dynamic content in this element uses the formatting from THUMBNAIL & STACKED LISTING OPTIONS menu in the theme editor. Is it possible to make the structure more responsive in design to expand or contract to screen with 6 columns?
On 800 screen columns are full width screen. Would like to have at least 2 columns on mobil
