Using Sytist To Control Access To Post-purchase Content?
We offer a few photography kits for sale, think alternative photography do it yourself kits, also build your own pinhole camera kits, etc..
Right now I just share a page with the information and instructions/videos they need that is forever 'draft' (so that it doesn't appear anywhere) and give each customer a direct link to that page. I worry about those 'links' getting shared, and in the future may need to change the URL, but then customers will be left in the dark. The venues I sell these kits through don't give me a name for everyone who purchases.
I'd like to get Sytist involved in a way to set up those customers as a user and assign them to the pages they have access to. Is anyone doing something similar? Any tips on how you're handling similar?
Thanks!
-John
Hi John, you may want to try a paid access page. https://www.picturespro.com/sytist-manual/articles... People may all so share account info so trying to protect digital work is really impossible. Just keep an eye on account logins and the IP address associated with that account.
You can password protect the page then assign people access to it in the People tab. They will have to have an account created.
My Email Address: info@picturespro.com
Thanks Vance and Tim!
