Digital Downloads And Green Screen

When a gallery is using green screen backdrops and you set a digital download "Do not allow digital file to download until...." Do you have to upload a replacement? And if that is true I guess if you uncheck that box does it allow the download with the background automatically?

You don't have to upload a replacement file.
But if you do, it is going to download ONLY that replacement file you upload. It is not going to apply a background to it.
Otherwise it will download the photo with the background.
