Hi Tim,
I have a request for my preschools to have an overiding 'view only' access to a set of galleries. As each of my galleries is private and password protected, I only want to give the parents of the child access to purchase from their galleries, but is there an alternative access option that I can give to a Centre Director whom wants to review the images of each child, without any ability of purchasing or downloading?
I'd rather not provide them with every password for each child gallery and instead grant them access at their category or sub category level.
Any suggestions?

You can assign a gallery owner to galleries:

But not on a category level.

So in my scenario above, would that require that I give access as Gallery Owner - to the Childcare Centre Director? Would that then require individual passwords for each gallery to be access by the gallery owner or can they be assigned 1 password that works on all galleries in a particular category?
And if so, would that not have any impact on the individual gallery passwords set for those who are sent the gallery links (i.e. child's Parent)

If you assign a gallery owner they don't need the password to the gallery when they log into their account to view the gallery.
You can't assign one password for them to access all the gallery in the category.
Basically, you can't do what you are wanting to do.
