Collections - Client Can Only Choose One Time

Is there an option for clients only can choose the collection ONE time - and then can purchase from a la carte.

The collection is 5 digital image downloads - they choose their 5 images and can check out or purchase more products and prints. However, the collection can be chosen more than once.

I am at a lost.. how to set it where they can only choose their free 5 images.

Thank you,
Cindy

Hi, not sure this will work for you but it is the only option. On your price list create a new product group. When you title it you will see options below(See pic) then add to that group your download collection or you can edit an existing group to do this. then once they select that collection it will unlock the rest of the price list.

There is not a way to have the customer only be able to add the product once to cart.

Hi Cindy, what you could do to is change the price list manually after the first purchase, but that will add extra work. I am just getting my new site set up for portraits and i really like how this works, yes it would be nice to be able to only allow a single purchase of a package, but this is a very robust system and Tim did an awesome job with the program. Good luck and keep them smiling.

Cynthia, did you find a way to make this work?

When I have clients with an included number of downloads, I create a print credit for that collection and apply it to their account before sending them the gallery access. This collection credit then automatically appears in their cart and they just have to add the images to it. They can then check out with a 0 balance, or they can purchase additional images.
