Shipping Not Charged After Coupon Use

Hi,
It's the first time I'm using coupons for a team that prepaid a certain amount per player. The coupon is for a fixed amount. When clients use it, shipping is not charged on their order if they add prints to their cart.
What am I doing wrong, how can I fix this?

It could be you have your shipping prices set to where it doesn't start until a higher price. Go to Settings -> Shipping and check your shipping prices and make sure the first one starts at $0.00

It's set to $0.01, where it was originally. I have only one shipping method and it is charged for an identical order without coupon use for example.

Might have found the problem. I had it set to "calculate shipping after discounts", so maybe the system applied the coupon value to print items first and downloads after and therefore no shipping. I'll see with the next order if it works now.
