Amazon Ec2 Hosting

I am currently using Godaddy for my hosing and have had issues with them from the beginning, specifically with image resizing and zipped folder downloading. I am considering switching hosts and I'm curious about Amazon EC2 for hosting. Will Sytist work with Amazon EC2, and what would the resource recommendations be for me to start with (CPU's and memory specifically).

If anyone has any experience with AWS EC2 and can give me any idea of the costs they have with it and any other tips I would appreciate it!

I do use Amazon S3 for storage currently.

Jamie, I would spin up an AWS lightsail instance, it’s much cheaper than an EC2 instance both are on the AWS platform. Take a look at that before you think about EC2. I have both instances.

You will still be able to use your S3, it’s just an API call.
