Free Downloads Not Tracked?

I believe I have the free download option working just fine. I've read in this forum how to view free downloads (When viewing the gallery in the admin, click the Stats tab. It will show you the free downloads made.) but I don't see any downloads listed here. I only see views and sales. I believe people are downloading the free files. Am I missing a setting that allows me to track free downloads?

If people are doing free downloads it will show in the Stats/Sales section of the gallery. It will show the photo downloaded & date/time. Try testing it in the gallery on the front end then check the stats/sales section of the gallery.

I tested and it IS working now. I should have mentioned I just upgraded from 2.7.x - perhaps something changed since that version.
