Moving Sytist From Root To A Sub-folder

I have installed Sytist to its own domain into the root and it works great. I use it as a photo-cart (like the old one) and just link straight to the galleries from my main website.
But, I'm soon to be shifting hosts and now I've decided that I want to have sytist purely as a photo-cart in a sub-folder such as: www.xxxxx.co.uk/clients-galleries
Do I just move all the files across into the new folder, or do I have to change the sy-config as well? And do I have to change anything in the database?
Cheers in advance.
Ian

You will need to move all the Sytist folders and files (which all start with sy- ... except for index.php) and then all folder created by Sytist (section and pages) into the new sub folder.
Download and edit the sy-config.php file. Add the following line at the bottom of the file before the closing PHP tab (which is ?> )
$setup['temp_url_folder'] = "/folder-name";
folder-name would be the name of the folder and be sure it starts with the slash: /

Hi Tim,
I moved my site from the root to a subfolder. I followed the directions regarding adding this line
$setup['temp_url_folder'] = "/folder-name";
I can see the site. But I can no longer edit the "homepage" of the new folder.
It allows me to click on edit and to click on the "edit row" that pops up when I mouse over the different elements, but it no longer does anything when I click on those editing options.
Any thoughts?
I have a site which is older than dirt and was set up originally with the old photo cart. My host said I had to delete some of my millions of files so I started editing with a heavy hand. I moved all the sy- files and all my created pages, etc and the index page but now I'm wondering if I deleted something else that was critical.
My sytist site is now www.melissashelby.com/photography
Thanks for any ideas!

I have no idea.
You can email me the following for me to look into it:
1) The link / URL to your Sytist admin (where you log into your Sytist admin).
2) The admin username and password (or create me an admin account by clicking Admins in the upper right corner of the admin pages).
