Disable The Extra Zoom On An Already Open Image

When viewing a gallery particularly on an ipad Is there a way to disable the click zoom feature?
ie When an image is already in the large lightbox view and the user clicks on the image it zooms a second time.
I keep zooming instead of advancing to next image and would love the only option to be swipe left or right through the gallery.
It only appears on galleries other than slideshow and scroll.

There isn't a way to disable it, but looking into it for the next update.

Yes it is. I am still learning the terminology and best ways to explain it so I recorded a loom video to show exactly what I mean. Is there anyway to disable it opening/zooming to show the full image completely vs a lightbox?
