Client Placed Order On Closed Gallery

Hi! I have a system where clients purchase a credit before picture day to have their dancers' pictures taken and then they can use that credit on their order once the photo gallery link is sent. I just got an order from a client where she purchased credits for an upcoming picture day but then also purchased digital downloads from a gallery from 2019 that was closed. When I test out the closed gallery myself, it says it's unavailable. Can anyone shed some light on how this happened? Thanks so much for your help!!
