Labels And Reports

How are people using labels right now? I can see how to add labels to people's accounts but I don't know what that feature is used for.
I was hoping it would work to sort orders - so for example I could export a sales report for all galleries or accounts with a particular label - but I don't see how to do that and it isn't mentioned in the help article.
Is it only for making some sort of mailing list or can you get other data from that feature?

I use them to track reviews, who I've asked, who has left one, who not to ask etc
