Attention

If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.

You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

Decimals In Invoice Quantities

Is there a way to use decimals in invoice quantities? I'm creating invoices to bill a client for hourly time spent on a project, and it would be really keen if I could use decimals in the quantity field, as I almost never spend exactly one hour on a project. I know this isn't what the invoice function is meant for, but I'm trying to keep the number of programs I use down to a minimum, and I like using Photo Cart for as much as possible so my clients have a history they can see.

Thanks!
:) Heather

Sorry, it won't take decimals. It will get rounded up when the invoice is created.

Ok, thanks. I think I've now messed something up in my database trying to change this in PHPMyAdmin. :/ I wanted to add something to an invoice without re-doing it, so I added a line in PHPMyAdmin. Now the checkbox for "taxable" is automatically checked for the first item, and can't be checked for subsequent items unless the first one is checked. Everything looks ok in the database from what I can see, but I obviously don't know what I'm doing, and don't have enough sense not to do it. ;)

Is this when creating a new invoice? I don't see how a change in the database would effect creating new invoices.

It is. I don't see why that would be an issue either, but it was fine before I went into the database, and not fine after.

You will need to email me a link to your Photo Cart admin with the username and password so I can take a look.
