Attention

If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.

You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

When clients are clicking on an image to order, no product options are showing anywhere on the screen. There is a price group assigned to the gallery. I'm not sure how to proceed.

View your price group in the admin and under the More tab click Edit Price Group Information. Be sure the Section Layout has these bracket codes exactly

[STANDARD_PRODUCTS]
[PACKAGES]
[GALLERY_ITEMS]

1) Double check by editing the gallery there is a price group selected.
2) Check and make sure the price group assigned to that gallery actually have products in it.
3) The products in the price group edit and see if they are marked as a download of the original file. If so, then maybe the photos were not uploaded to keep to original file so there is nothing to show.

We found it, but it was not this problem Tim listed above. For some reason, the customer (who created her own acct) ended up having a custom price group assigned to her, which was affecting her ability to order. How can I prevent this from happening in the future?

The only way for a custom price list be set to a customer's account is if you manually do it from the admin. There is no other way.

Hi guys,
This problem has duplicated itself on another customer, and it looks like what I have to check when this happens is the CUSTOMER pricing, not the gallery pricing.
FYI.
