Bug With Extra New Photo Option In Collections

Hi Tim,

I wanted to bring this up to you. So when a customer adds a print collection to their cart it is allowing them to add a different photo to the collection for $0.00 even though your instructions state that when 0.00 is entered in the "extra new photo" section a customer will not be allowed purchasing additional photos within the collection.

I just had a customer submit an order and the system allowed them to add a new pose for zero dollars. I just confirmed this by using my test account.

Where did you get that information from? In the admin and in the manual it says you have to add a price for both.

I have this problem too.

When I mouse over the info icon (the blue i) beside New Extra Photo on the collection creation page, it says this:

"If you want your customers to be able to purchase additional photos of a NEW pose at a discounted rate, enter in the amount for the additional photos below. [b] Enter 0.00 to not allow purchasing of additional photos. {/b}

If using this feature you MUST have a price for both!"

(my addition of bold)

Is there a way for me to allow extra prints, but not new prints?

There is not a way to use it and not allow new prints. You just price the extra new photo the retail price as if they are purchasing one a la cart.
