How Do Customers Unsubscribe From A Pre-register?

Hi Tim
I am looking at reverting back to Sytist from mailchimp but have two questions.

1 - for privacy concerns how does someone unsubscribe from pre-registering for a gallery should they wish to? eg they sign up, I start sending emails that the gallery is now available, closing soon, reminders to those that have not ordered etc etc - how can they unsubscribe? More importantly how can I add that as an option in each email ie "to unsubscribe from this gallery click here"

2 - is this piece below from the manual still relevant? eg perhaps I am better to stick with mailchimp if I have hundreds of people pre-register for a gallery and I want to bulk email them when the gallery is ready?

Thank you!

WHY?
Because of SPAM it is hard enough to get emails sent from a server into an inbox. And if you were to try and send dozens, hundreds or thousands of emails out at a time, they most definitely will not get into inboxes and your hosting company would probably shut you off. Even if you have a dedicated server, the emails still would not make it into inboxes.

1) If you set up automated emails when you send gallery invite & reminder emails it automatically adds an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the emails.

2) Again with automated emails you will have better luck getting emails through because it will only send so many at a time, like 10 every 5 minutes.
