Moving Sytist From Current Server To A New One With Same Host

Hi,
We are currently running on cPanel & WHM version 86, and need to get a new dedicated server to upgrade CentOS 6 to a server running CentOS 7. We will be upgrading with the same host and I was wondering what are the best steps to make the Sytist transfer work correctly?

Do we follow the same steps listed here: https://www.picturespro.com/sytist-manual/installation/moving-sytist-from-one-host-to-another/ or are there different steps/options because we are staying with the same host?

Since it is a different server those would be the instructions to follow.

But if the new server is running WHM your host should be able to transfer the site WHM to WHM.

Hi Tim,

We have been up and running for a while on our new server and all is well. Except when we try to create a backup it does not appear. We get the green tick completion message for both Optimize Database & Create Backup Now, but no new backup listing appears.

Is there a setting I need to tweak on the new server?

If you are getting a message that backups are failing or you don't see a backup file, then your hosting company probably has the PHP system function disabled. If this is the case, contact your hosting company and make sure they are making regular backups of your website.

And on some servers it just simply does not work for whatever reason.

Ahh ok we do have regular backups of the server being performed. We also have access to the WHM/Cpanel to make changes, is there a link or info on how to enable the PHP system function?
