Tim -
I have recently upgraded my Ubuntu web server. Somehow Sytist is not functional anymore. I cannot see the initial Home screen or access the Administration. Could you take a look at it and guide me on what I should do?
I have verified that Apache is up and running as well as PHP and MySQL.

I suspect either a permission issue or the mysqli_ functions are not enabled.
Download this zip file: https://www.picturespro.com/sy-misc/sytist-check-requirements.zip
Unzip it to your computer and upload the included sytist.php file to your website. See the readme file for further instructions. Let me know what it says.

Besides mysqli and gd2 what other PHP extensions should be enabled?

Looks like the GD Library is not installed for one but don't think that is causing the blank pages.
GD Library
MySQLi (note the i ... mysql was removed in PHP 7 for mysqli)
ZIP
EXIF

Turns out that the PHP install did not install the gd and mysqli libraries by default. Thus, the extensions were not downloaded as well. To solve the problem I had to download both using apt-get commands and restart Apache. That solved it.
Thanks for the help!
