I've just set up AWS S3 and have gone through all galleries to transfer.
If I go into the galleries all have the AWS marker on them.
My hosting company says all have not transferred.
Does it take time? (I did the transfers in the last few days)
Thanks

If you see the S3 icon under the photo, then those have transferred to S3. It doesn't take time.
There will be some photos that won't transfer, like product photos, photos uploaded as previews, but it won't be many.
you can go to the All Photos section and in the search area there is an option to show photos on S3 and on the server (all locations). Check there, may be more galleries not moved to S3.

If you are still having trouble, they may be referring to the orders - photos folder and if you use stylist to download the images, doing so brings them back to the server your website is on and you have to manually delete them. When I hosted with GoDaddy they complained about this and I ended up hosting elsewhere.

Hi Tim
Is the above correct?
If so how do I correct?
The following is from my hosting company;
The folder sy-photos that is located in the galleries folder contains a lot of data and subfolders as I checked. Each subfolder of the ./galleries/sy-photos/ one. As I've checked it appears that the 191 GB of content is located in that subfolder sy-photos.
Many thanks,
Phil
