Facebook App Issue

I just breceived the following email from facebook, through my facebook account and registered email so I "think" it's genuine. Any suggestions as to what it actually means?

I don't know why Facebook keeps sending those out. It doesn't crash or hang,.

I would suggest to create a new Facebook App and update in Settings -> Share & Facebook the APP ID:

I just received the same message but the app is working. I replied telling them it is working. They sent video clip showing it isn’t but it is. Something about this feels fake and a long game to hack either my Facebook account or website.
